Opportunity to show your work in Italy
during the Alto Jonio Dance Festival July 30 – 31, 2012
ALTO JONIO DANCE Italy - New York is open to “emerging” dancer/choreographers.
Winner will have the opportunity to present solo plus trio or duet in Italy
during the ALTO JONIO DANCE FESTIVAL July 30 --31, 2012
, and will be honored as Alto Jonio Dance “Emerging Choreographer”.
Festival will provide Air tickets to Italy, room and board, and free tuition
at Festival’s summer intensive July 23-28, 2012 preceding Dance Festival from July 30 – 31, 2012.
Competition in NYC will be held on December 26th, 2011,
with callbacks on the 27th, at New York City Center Studios, 130 West 56th Street, NYC

indicating name and nationality of the choreographer, name and length of the solo presented.
After receiving confirmation they will receive the registration form
and bring it with them on the day of the showing.
If their solo is chosen on Dec 26th, they will be invited to show that solo as well as a duet or trio
on Dec 27th before the selection panel makes final decision.
Non-refundable registration fee is 120 US dollars

scholarships to attend workshops to the Key West Modern Dance in Florida, lessons to the Centro Studi Coreografici “Teatro Carcano” in Milan, the Steps on Broadway and the Peridance Capezio Center in New York.

Categories Groups (all the sections) and Future: € 150,00 (from 3 to 7 participants; for every possible extra student the rate of registration is € 15,00)
